This year they changed the 1963 to 1966 Plymouth A body stock class to 1960 to 1966 A bodies. Now all club members can park together!

The First in Class this year was a first timer to Carlisle, a real character and a good guy. Gerald Smith from Alabama brought his 1964 Barracuda with the Aluminum block /6.

The Second in class was the first time this car was here at Carlisle. Gary Voleshen has been to here before with his Dodge A100 Van, but this is the first trip for his 1961 Valiant. Gary also received a "Celebrity Pick" from Nancy Buczeskie of the Mopar Rebellion.

Third in class this year was a returning winner. Phillip Cawley and his 1963 Valiant Convertible.

Rounding out the 1960 to 1966 A body stock awards is Rebecca "Becca" Kerewsky with a Celebrity Pick from Mopar Mailing List judge Ray Kuter for her white 1965 Barracuda.

"Needless to say, I was stunned and flattered. At first, I almost felt guilty, what with all of the AMAZING cars out there. Ray explained to me, though, that he felt that a survivor car that is actually driven and enjoyed deserved recognition."

I think we all can agree to that!

One of the displays this year was "Barn Finds".

Everyone needs a Hot Rod Coffin!

The Turbo Interceptor show vehicle used in the movie "The Wraith" starring Charlie Sheen. There was a cooler car in that movie, but this one was ok. IMCDB.com

The Green Hornet and Cato drove Black Beauty to show off her secrets. Some days I wish I had those forward firing missiles.

This 1969 Dodge Charger was built through the Make-A-Wish Foundation for Ronni Steves, a young girl who was diagosed at age 14 with Ewing's sarcoma, a bone cancer that effect young people between the ages of 10 to 20. You can click on all five of these photos to view higher resolution versions.

A few cars in the invitional building

Designer John Samsen was in attendance again this year to give his presentation on auto design. Actor James Best a.k.a. Rosco P. Coltrain was on the scene signing autographs all day Friday and Saturday. The kids and adults alike waited in a long line to meet him. I heard one of the Duke Boy's cousins was there, but I guess I missed him. sorry.

Heres a few of the 1962 to 1969 A body Modified class.

Chris Lowe and his 1962 Valiant took first in class for the 1962 to 1969 Plymouth A body Modified. Not a slant 6!

I have this guys cell number if you want to make an offer. He was asking $6,300.00.
